  • Permissive Footpaths and Bridleways in Holme Hale

At the Parish Council meeting on the 7th January it was explained that the Permissive footpaths and bridleways that are on private land may close from September 2019 due to the funding as originally recommended by DEFRA being withdrawn. These payments were designed to acknowledge Public Benefit and the annual cost of maintenance and Public liability insurance.

The Parish Council would like to bring to your attention that this matter was  discussed in depth at the Parish Council meeting  held on Monday 4th March 2019 and will be on the agenda for further discussion at the next Ordinary Parish meeting – see agenda for the next meeting.

Meanwhile, maps showing what footpaths that be affected are on noticeboards
